Backlott is a multimedia boutique production company that strives to produce provocative narratives in both film and television.  Backlott's resume continues to grow with high-quality independent genre projects.

This year, the company will have its first VOD release with William Lott's  "BOTTOM", after just finishing a successful festival run. Next year, Backlott (in association with Jam & Rosemary Productions) will see its first episodic project, "GOOD GRIEF", make its festival premiere. "GOOD GRIEF", also directed by William Lott (with episodes written by Josh Nadler) stars Josh Nadler, Jessica Kinsella, Helene Udy ("Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman", "My Bloody Valentine"), and Sandra Cruze. 

Backlott was founded by William Lott in 2020 and, since, has not only acted as a launching pad for his own projects, but has also played a major part in developing and producing indie productions for other filmmakers. 

William Lott is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles with a dedicated passion for storytelling and through his own films, and Backlott, he aims to continue to produce film and television that brings under represented stories and voices to the forefront in a variety of genres, with a specific affinity for dark comedy and horror.
